Manufacturing Manager
Reports to: President

Our client, a Kingston-based successful mid-sized manufacturing company, has an immediate career opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager. This position seeks a strong leader to passionately guide strategic vision, day-to-day operations, and long-term growth objectives.

Major Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership in lean manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, process/continuous improvement, supply chain, warehousing, and inventory control.

Create or improve processes and procedures to meet/exceed corporate performance.

Lead operational excellence programs to ensure plant meets goals and objectives.

Provide support and expert advice/guidance/mentoring.

Develop and conduct supplier audits while sourcing new potential suppliers as required.

Analyze reports and take corrective action to ensure optimal performance.

Oversee planning, forecasting, and monitor financials.

Keep current with technological changes, governmental regulations and industry trends.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.

Exposure to sheet metal product manufacturing an asset.

In-depth experience in engineering and product development.

A minimum of 10+ years senior management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proven record of implementing strategic projects from start to finish.

Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
