Brenda E. Palmer
Brenda E. Palmer has over 35 years experience in Human Resource Management, Executive Search, Career Transition, and Leadership Coaching. Following a successful early HR career in the manufacturing industry, she advanced to senior management roles with two Ottawa search firms. Twenty years ago she started Palmer & Associates in Kingston. Her clients range from large multinational corporations to small entrepreneurial organizations. In her role, she guides and mentors clients to achieve their goals and be the best version of themselves.
For 18 years Brenda was also the Kingston, Belleville, Brockville Business Partner of Lee Hecht Harrison Knightsbridge where she and her team provided career transition services, one-on-one mentoring, and delivered group workshops.
In addition to her professional role of connecting people and organizations, Brenda has also been instrumental in founding several highly successful networking groups in Kingston for local business and military leaders. She has been a guest speaker at Queen's University, Royal Military College of Canada, CFB Kingston, St. Lawrence College, United Way, and various community groups. She has also co-chaired black tie fundraising events that generated over $100,000 for Kingston General Hospital. Brenda has served on Boards for the KGH Foundation, the Kingston chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association, and worked on a speakers series committee for the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce. Brenda has also been a regular guest "expert" on a popular local radio segment.
