Advertising Account Manager

Our client, a successful advertising sales firm across Ontario, markets indoor and outdoor digital and static messaging and communication solutions. They are seeking an experienced sales professional, for the Ottawa region, who can articulate the advantages of adverting products and services using unique digital displays as an alternative to more traditional platforms such as radio and newspaper media. The position involves introducing this approach to the decision makers of product and service businesses that are looking to expand their market in the Ottawa area.

Key Competencies:

A strong and resourceful sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset.

A skilled communicator/presenter with a strong business acumen and understanding of business advertising needs

Ability to build relationships, close sales, service current clients, and assist in developing creative messaging for client advertising.

Ability to manage contract backends and deadlines.

Experience with CRM systems metrics.

Ability to work in a team environment and understand the value of training and coaching while operating independently.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Familiarity with the Ottawa business market.

Significant experience in media advertising sales an asset.

An established and proven track record of success within business development and account management.

A creative thinker with a client-focused solutions mindset.

Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.

Strong organization and communication skills and a personality that is characterized by hard work, energy, enthusiasm, and initiative.
