Our client, Brockville Country Club (BCC), is a social and recreational club located in the heart of the 1000 Islands. A Stanley Thompson course with a rich history and a beautiful setting. Amenities include an 18-hole, par 72 golf course, a six-sheet curling facility and dining options in their full-service club. The club maintains a long tradition of hosting tournaments, bonspiels and many special social functions for members, special events, and community organizations.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager (GM), is responsible for the financial and operational achievement of Brockville Country Club (BCC) strategic directions. The GM will develop and lead a member and community focused organization, ensure high standards of quality, service and member satisfaction, increase revenues, grow membership, promote awareness and act as the club’s ambassador and representative, marketing the club within the community.

The successful candidate will enjoy leading this progressive club, while respecting its 100+ year history, embracing a future that benefits BCC’s entire membership and valued staff.



We Are Looking For:

A focused executive who excels at interacting with members, staff, customers, vendors, and community partners, who builds a cohesive culture by collaborating, coaching, and guiding a professional team to consistently achieve desired results.

An operational leader, with proven experience working with a non-profit Boards and committees, who enjoys working with others, is adept at identifying and promoting opportunities to enhance quality, service, and income.

An innovative, strategic thinker who is solution focused, with well developed skills in developing and managing a budget, food and beverage management and marketing.

A respectful and tactful communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills who is adept at cultivating and maintaining positive relationships.

Skilled at fostering strong connections to grow membership, to promote club services, and facilities to current and potential members, the community and industry stakeholders.

A university degree and/or CCM designation an asset.

10+ years’ experience in golf/curling clubs; 5 years in an executive role.

Demonstrates a high level of integrity, accountability, sound analytical thinking, and excellent interpersonal, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
