Our Eastern Ontario client is looking for a business coach, advisor, and mentor to facilitate community wide growth by supporting new ventures and small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in a fast-paced business environment.
The ideal candidate will have a core strategic focus on growth and investment, has lived experience as an entrepreneur and knows what it takes for a business to be successful. This management role provides the right individual an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting local businesses including manufacturers and start-ups, enabling growth and retention. Ideal for someone who is excited about making a significant difference in the community.

A collaborative, self-directed professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and substantial experience developing and executing business plans, budgets, financial forecasts including related administrative reporting and project management.

Adept at coaching and mentoring others, in rapidly changing business environments.

An innovative, client-focused business development professional experienced at relationship building, sales, research, financial and project management with knowledge of business operations challenges and opportunities.

A blend of deep financial acumen, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills, who is detail-oriented, proactive, focuses on long-term growth, possess diverse industry experience, and can translate complex data into actionable next steps.

A client focused individual with well-developed customer service delivery, workshop, and presentation skills.

A skilled, self-directed leader who collaborates effectively, engages stakeholders and colleagues to develop projects, workshops, and proposals.

Exposure to growth and retention initiatives, including investment support, lead generation, and workforce development.

A creative problem-solver able to relate to SME business owners, regardless of their industry.

An experienced coach and mentor supported by a post-secondary degree, 5+ years’ experience, including previous involvement acting as a liaison/facilitator between businesses, leads, government, agencies, and associations.

Bilingual (French/English) candidates preferred
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000
