Customer Service Representative

Our client, a local manufacturing company serving customers across Canada and the United
States, is looking for a
Customer Service Representative as a replacement for a long term
retiring employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking freight for
Canadian and US orders, providing customer service support, and assisting with administrative
functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in record keeping, and
excellent communication skill.

Coordinate and book freight shipments for Canadian and US customer orders

Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Provide responsive and professional customer service via phone and email.

Enter, track, and maintain accurate customer and order records.

Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation.

Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally.

Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or administrative support (manufacturing or freight experience is an asset), or shipping and receiving.

College Diploma or equivalent work experience in a related field.

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and order management systems.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible team player with good communication skills.

Problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
