The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is seeking a positive, engaging, and forward-thinking Director, Corporate Services to join its senior management team. RCDHU proudly serves the County of Renfrew, the City of Pembroke, and the Township of South Algonquin delivering programs and services that protect and promote the health and well-being of our communities.

As a key member of the senior management team, the Director, Corporate Services will contribute to fostering a culture of excellence that strengthens and supports the delivery of high-quality public health programs and services at RCDHU.

A collaborative leader with an analytical mind, a broad knowledge of business, proven experience in a management role, and a reputation as a competent leader.

An innovative strategic thinker with a positive attitude, who demonstrates a high degree of business acumen, with experience in health care/not-for-profits, is solution focused, and capable of facilitating and maintaining long-term relationships with partners and funders.

Adept at ensuring that operational plans are aligned with the strategic plan, and developing and implementing plans consistent with the overall financial strategy for the organization in cooperation with the Senior Management Team.

A knowledgeable professional who excels at collaborating, and coaching staff, leads by example, mentors, and guides a skilled team to consistently achieve targets.

Prior leadership experience in business administration, finance, human resource management, information technology, or related roles in a unionized environment.



The Ideal Candidate:

Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field with 5+ years leadership experience.

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or in progress.

Possesses sound analytical thinking, accountability, a systems level mind-set, excellent planning, prioritization, and execution skills.

French language skills an asset.

Compensation: $133,000 – $153,000 plus a comprehensive pension and benefits package
