Director, Corporate Services

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director, Corporate Services reports to the
Medical Officer of Health & CEO (MOH/CEO) and plays a critical leadership role in ensuring that the
organization’s corporate infrastructure, people, systems, assets, and governance processes
effectively support high-quality public health practice.
This key role provides strategic and operational leadership for corporate service functions, including
finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, and communications.
The Director supports the MOH/CEO and Board of Health in meeting statutory, legislative, fiscal, and
accountability obligations, and contributes to organizational strategy, planning, risk management,
emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact leading in public health in a beautiful region, where outdoor and cultural activities abound, and within a short trip to Toronto.

Possesses proven financial acumen, including experience overseeing complex public sector budgets, multi-funding-source environment, financial reporting, and public-sector accountability frameworks, in a unionized environment.

Astute business leader who balances technology, people and process while ensuring efficiency and investment in sound practices to support culture.

Graduate degree in Health Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline, and professional designation (E.g. CPA, CHRL/CHRP, PMP) or in progress.

10 years progressive senior leadership experience.

Possesses sound analytical thinking, accountability, a systems level mind-set, excellent planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
Compensation: $143,000 – $156,000 plus OMERS pension and comprehensive benefits package.
