Provide HR leadership and support in an organization where you can make a difference.
Spearhead HR strategies and initiatives, coach and develop department employees and be a trusted advisor to the CEO and the leadership teams.
Collaboratively develop and implement programs, practices and procedures that align with the organization’s strategic plan to support growth and needs.
Coordinate the administration, negotiation, and adherence of the collective agreements.
Promote a culture of inclusivity, engagement, diversity, and respectful communication.
Develop and implement specific approaches that support people in realizing their potential.
Listen to employee needs/suggestions and support organization’s wellness programs.
Develop and manage department budget to keep within the strategic plan and goals.
Provide expert advice, guidance, and coaching to employees and the leadership teams.
Skillfully take on initiatives and lead projects from conception to successful completion.
A post-secondary education plus a CHRL designation.
10+ years senior leadership experience in a NFP Human Resources leadership role an asset.
A strong relationship builder with proven success cultivating positive labour relations.
Knowledge of current legislation, regulations, workplace safety programs and best practices.
A collaborative, strategic leader with excellent decision-making/problem-solving skills, and capabilities to streamline processes while adopting cost savings and efficiencies.
Ability to foster/maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies.
Respected mentor/coach, possess agility, embrace change and a strong business acumen.
Knowledge of labour relations, contracting, negotiations and change management.
Experience with strategic and operational planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
