Human Resources Manager
Our client, a successful, mid-sized manufacturing company, is seeking a strategic, adaptable, Human Resources leader with excellent communication skills, strong ethical standards and a keen interest in building strong relationships at all levels of organization. Role reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is a member of the senior leadership team in a respectful, collaborative culture.
This role is the sole HR professional, within the site, that will oversee a wide range of day-to-day HR functions. An interesting, newly created role for a collaborative and accountable, hands-on HR professional in a non-union environment. Act as a member of the leadership team and provide support to the employees and the leaders

Lead departmental and organizational HR functions while collaboratively designing and executing programs that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Advocate for and advance numerous employee initiatives and priorities.

Coach and develop staff while offering comprehensive support across all departments.

Manage department budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business plans.

Contribute to workplace culture, safety initiatives, and organizational goals.

Promote collaboration, inclusivity, and transparent communication.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations by establishing and implementing needed policies and procedures. Direct compensation/payroll forecasting and administer benefit programs.

Coordinate and supervise training and development efforts to facilitate individual and group growth, enhancing overall organizational effectiveness.

Identify areas for operational improvement and apply industry best practices.

As a trusted advisor, provide expert guidance, support, coaching to employees and leadership.

Experienced HR leader with a manufacturing background.

Skilled strategic thinker and effective communicator, adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution and building strong relationship.

Possesses strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to execute.

Recognized mentor with a proactive approach.

Deep knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and regulations.

Holds a university degree, HR designation, and over 10 years of senior HR leadership experience.
