Brenda E. Palmer has over 40 years experience in Human Resource Management, Executive Search, Career Transition, and Leadership Coaching. Following a successful early HR career in the manufacturing industry, she advanced to senior management roles with two Ottawa search firms. 25 years ago she started Palmer & Associates in Kingston. Her clients range from large multinational corporations, small entrepreneurial organizations, to public and not-for-profits. In her role she guides and mentors clients to achieve their goals and connect candidates to perfect career opportunities.

For 18 years Brenda was also the Kingston, Belleville, Brockville Business Partner of LHH where she and her team provided career transition services, one-on-one mentoring, and delivered group workshops.

In addition to her professional role of connecting people and organizations, Brenda has also been instrumental in founding several highly successful networking groups in Kingston for local business and military leaders. She has been a guest speaker at Queen’s University, Royal Military College of Canada, CFB Kingston, CFB Trenton, St. Lawrence College, United Way, and various other community groups. She has also co-chaired fundraising events that generated over $100,000 for Kingston General Hospital. Brenda has served on Boards for the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF), the Kingston chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association, and a speakers series committee for the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce. Brenda has also been a regular guest “expert” on a popular local radio segment.
