Joanne Thompson has contributed in the career services field at all levels. She brings enthusiasm, commitment, and ingenuity as a career consultant, group facilitator, and career transition expert. Joanne has developed, directed, and facilitated a variety of programs from community to higher education, serving students, entrepreneurs, and executives.

Before joining our team, Joanne was the Associate Director of Career Services overseeing coaching and programming for Canada's premier Undergraduate Commerce program at Queen's University Smith School of Business. Prior to this, she was Career Services Manager for the full-time MBA program. Before her transition to higher education, Joanne had a successful career as a Business Development Professional with TD Bank, CIBC, and ADP Canada.

A true people person and coach at heart, Joanne has an exceptional ability to motivate, inspire, design, and execute strategies focused on maximizing personal potential.

Joanne earned a Bachelor of Business Management from University of Toronto, along with Myers-Briggs Type Indicator-Facilitator, Personality Dimensions Certified Facilitator, Career Focusing Certified Facilitator, Accelerator Coach Training (ICF Accredited), Image Consultant Training (The Crowning Touch USA) certifications.
